Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival promotes both amateur and professional, independent films. Proof that you don't need to have a Bollywood/ Hollywood budget to make a great film. This year's festival will include a Short Film Competition, Music Video Competition and will showcase other feature length and short films. Along with film screenings there will be seminars and workshops by professionals to teach about today's hot filmmaking topics.

Awards & Prizes

A Best Film will be chosen from each of the Short Film, Music Video, International and Documentary Short categories.

Winners will have a chance to have their films screened at #PBISFF Lounge during the Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival!

All films, including those submitted to the Film Showcase, will be able to win any of the following awards:

• Once the film submitted can’t be withdrawn in any circumstances, however festival director reserve the rights to disqualify any film on certain grounds.
• By submitting movie to Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival-2017, Filmmaker/Producer takes the whole responsibility of copyright issues of music, script and other creative and technical aspects of film.

The demand draft shall be issue in the favor of “Gravity Event Creation” payable at Jaipur. International filmmakers can pay the fee through PayPal.

Films must be subtitled in English if language is other than English and Hindi.


Trophies will be given to Award winning films. Certificate of participation will be given to all participants.

Filmmakers must be in attendance at the festival to receive their awards and will be notified two weeks prior to the festival if an award is being received.

Terms & Conditions

This is an open film festival. All categories of films will be accepted. We have no rules on when the film was created or where it has been screened. We want to see your masterpiece.
Films submitted to the Competitions (Short Film, Music Video) must be appropriate for all ages. Films not appropriate for all ages may be submitted to our Film Showcase.

Duration Restrictions

Short Films and Animation: Up to 30 Minutes
Documentaries: up-to 45 min
Music Videos: 2-7 min

The decision of the Jury will be final and can’t be challenged.

PBISFF-2017 stages/process:

• Entry submission as per rules & regulations.
• Notification of shortlisted films by the festival office on 31st October 2017
• Delegate registration to attend PBISFF-2017.
• All filmmakers may register as delegate to attend the festival. Hospitality charges are applicable for filmmakers & attendees, which include lunch, tea/coffee with cookies.
• Festival movies screening & workshops followed by award ceremony on 15-16 December 2017 at Jaipur, India.
• Piggy Bank International Short Film Festival-2017 does not take any type financial commitment for the expense incurred on the correspondence by the participant. All Travel, Lodging & Boarding and other miscellaneous expenses will have to be borne by the participant himself for attending the festival. No request for the same will be entertained.
